Course Overview
Companies that invest in mentoring understand that the most effective way to motivate and retain great employees today is to develop them. Who was the person that made a difference in your development? This is your opportunity to offer that same guidance to your employees or to someone who needs your support.

The role of the mentor is different than that of the manager. You will learn to change hats when encouraging your protégé. You will learn the different roles the mentor plays and will analyze how the mentor in your life helped you grow. You will learn when to give your opinion, when to step in and when to step back and let the protégé learn on his/her own.
